9/11/09-Release (1.3.1)

Changes

  • Mouse Ouput (Only movement right now x,y)
  • Update Checker
  • Removed Button/Axis/Hat groups (click once to select control now)
  • Various Improvements

7/31/09-Release (1.3.0)

Added profile saving and opening. Video tutorial is now at youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Va7zrEZbHas

7/24/09-Release (1.2.0)

Completely rewrote the GUI and most everything else. This version removes the complexity of joystick configuration that the old version had. I couldn't even understand how to configure it at times. Profile creation doesn't work right this second but that will soon change along with mouse input.

3/13/09-Release (1.1.0) Old Version

Completely rewrote the program. This is just a Windows release but Linux and Mac testing are in the works. I rewrote the program so I would have cross platform support and for a another reason that I'll reveal in later versions.

Changes-Profiles are actually saved and loaded now. Currently saving button functions only works.

1/24/09-Initial Alpha Release (1.0.0)

Inspired from the great program joytokey, Pad2Key brings that same greatness to Vista and beyond. It has a simple yet elegant interface, unlimited joystick count, multiple profile creation, and function creation much like the program HIP. This program provides disabled users easier navigation through their OS and joystick support for retro games or other games that don't have joystick support.

Program to Date

This is an on and off project, that I work with when I have the time. At the present the function like feature in HIP does not yet exist. Right now I consider this as a release that works but not to the extent of my orginal idea. It does not yet compare to programs like Pinnacle Game Profiler or XPadder but that might soon change so check back for updates!
